Coconut sugar, or Javanese Sugar “Gula Jawa” is synonymous with traditional Indonesian cuisine. The unique caramelized taste and nutritional benefits of coconuts has made this sugar a local favorite in garnishing traditional dishes. It starts by harvesting our 100% organic coconuts grown by family owned farms, where coconut nectar is harvested from the flower bud stem, using our two step manual “tapping” method.
