Bay Leaves / Daun Salam
Can be used fresh or dry, but dried ones tend to have stronger flavor. Bay leaves are commonly used to be simmered in a sauce, and then removed before serving. Bay leaves also great for a whole chicken or a beef-roll before roasting it for stuffing.
