Sop/soup is Indonesian beef or chicken soup, influenced by the Dutch. The most popular version of this soup is the oxtail soup.
The methods to cook sop is boil meat/chicken until done. Use 4 cups (900ml) of broth. Sautee garlic and shallot until fragrant. Pour sautee garlic and shallot, Bamboe spice mix into broth, mix well. Pour in mixed vegetable and tomato, simmer with low heat until tender. Serve hot.
The ingredients are shallots, salt, vegetable oil, white pepper and nutmeg.
